Hello Mary,
Holiday Open House and the VIP Event are actually two different things, however they have typically fell on the same dates. Individual Hallmark stores also have some leeway in how they handle these events.
My suggestion to you is to call the store you plan to go to for Open House, ask to speak to the Manager, and explain your situation—be sure to let them know whether or not you’re a Platinum Crown Rewards member too. They should be able to give you the best dates to visit for their specific store.
