The “Minion Peekbuster” plays actual minion sound effects from the films. Senior Editor Lindsay Evans listened to thousands of Minion sound effects to find the one that would be used for this ornament.

NERDY NUGGET: The iconic slippers worn by Judy Garland in the 1939 movie were stolen in 2005 from the Judy Garland Museum, and later recovered in 2018.
The Keepsake Ornament, “A Boy and His Dog,” is based on some of the very first artwork Charles Schulz did in 50’s styling.
The “1955 Lincoln Futura” ornament is based on a car that was later customized to become the Batmobile for the classic 1966 TV series.

The little girl looking for Santa on this year’s Keepsake Ornament Club exclusive “Christmas Window 2020” ornament has a special connection to Nina. It’s her niece Jessica, and the stuffed animal on the ornament is her “Piggy” that she’s had since she was a baby. “Piggy” goes everywhere with her and she sleeps with it every night!
NOTE: This year’s Christmas Windows is a callback to the series beginnings, most of the series has featured storefronts, but the very first ornament in the series was a room scene.
