Ornament Spotlight: Wreath of Memories

“For the 2024 artist collaboration piece, we wanted two artists to lead the way—one sketching the design and one doing the actual sculpting,” says Keepsake Artist Gregor Benedetti. “So this ornament will be more personal to the lead artists, and we’re all really excited about that.”

While brainstorming, Gregor was inspired by the theme of past meets present. He centered his idea around 1979’s Here Comes Santa reading the Dream Book as characters from the Playful Penguins and Gnome for Christmas series look on. Gregor also added other series into the wreath along with real 14k gold accents.

“It was really fun to sketch these beloved characters from other artists in my own style,” Gregor says. “My only question is…what’s on their Wish List?”
