Here are photographs of a couple of Keepsake ornament designs created by Keepsake Artist, Robert Chad, that were never produced.
The first picture is of Santa’s Nightstand, an original hand-painted prototype created in 2003. One of these original pieces was included in the Keepsake Live Auction at the 2009 Keepsake Ornament Club Event.
The second and third pictures are of the original sculpt and hand-painted prototype Robert created in 1989 to commemorate Baby’s First Christmas.

Santa’s Nightstand shows so much detail. This would make a great compliment piece to all the other ‘furniture’ ones that have been done over the years. Great job!
I love Santa’s Nightstand and wish that it had been part of the ornaments that you could have purchased.
I really like Santa’s Nightstand and wish they would consider making it as an event exclusive to purchase. (And not repaint it the next year).
Ooh, I have to agree with others here. Why did they not produce Santa’s Night Stand? It is so beautiful and would complement so many other Robert Chad ornaments we all have. Are you listening Hallmark? Produce this one!
