What Were The Top 10 Ornaments (by units moved) During 2012 Ornament Premiere?
The Magic Cord, the “light string” extension cord used to power the ornaments of the same name, was the most popular item picked up during Ornament Premiere. Three factors contributed to this years unusual leader. In addition to a well received promotion (Free Magic Cord with the purchase of any Magic Cord Hallmark Keepsake Ornament), the Magic Cord technology has started to catch on and is gaining wider acceptance and thirdly, the release of popular designs including: Trimming the Tree, a Frosty Friends complement piece; Peanuts Pageant and two series pieces as Magic Cord ornaments.
The highest selling ornament during this same period was Cookie Cutter Christmas, the 1st in series piece by Nina Aubé featuring a sweet snowmouse inside a festive cookie cutter. For a complete list of the other ornaments that rounded off this years top ten (twelve) please see below.

2012 Sneak Peek: Christmas Table Decoration
Unlike initially rumored, this year’s Snowtop Lodge inspired tabletop display piece will not be based on Stanley T. Starr, the ’08 KOC membership ornament. Instead, it will be an original creation that Keepsake Artist Joanne Eschrich approached as if she had been designing it for the series.
Available beginning Ornament Premiere weekend,
July 14-15, 2012
Snowtop Lodge Premiere Promotion
For the second year in a row Keepsake Studio Master Sculptor, Joanne Eschrich has designed a tabletop display to complement one of her popular series. This years piece draws its inspiration from the delightful snow folk that are featured in her Snowtop Lodge series. Look for this piece starting July 14, at Ornament Premiere, when it will be available at a special price.

2012 Sneak Peek: KOC Members Ornament Premiere Gift
Keepsake Ornament Club (KOC) Members will once again receive a free ornament during the 2012 Ornament Premiere when they purchase a Hallmark Keepsake ornament priced $7.95 or more. This years KOC Ornament Premiere gift, “Sweet Mouse”, was created by contributing artist Katrina Bricker. It depicts a chubby little gray mouse sitting down holding a white glazed star shaped cookie at his side.
NOTE: A scaled down version of “Sweet Mouse” was Katrina Bricker’s contribution to Santa’s Armoire, the 2010 Keepsake Artist In-Store Signing Events collaborative piece. He can be found hiding on top, behind the crown molding.
