Press Release: Hallmark and Funko Join Forces to Launch Funko Pop! Ornaments

New collection of pop-culture ornaments to debut exclusively at Walmart

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (August 26, 2021) –Today Hallmark announced a new partnership with Funko, the pop culture consumer products company, on a collection of Funko Pop! Hallmark Christmas tree ornaments, which will be sold exclusively at Walmart this year.

The Pop! Hallmark ornament collection features licensed characters you know and love, such as Grogu from The Mandalorian™, Super Heroes from Marvel, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, Dwight Schrute from “The Office,” and characters from Warner Bros. Consumer Products like Harry Potter™, Buddy the Elf, Friends, and DC Super Heroes.

“For decades, Hallmark has designed and sold licensed ornaments and gifts for people like us who love a pop of culture in our homes and on our Christmas trees, whether that’s a favorite character from a comic book or even a nostalgic video game from our childhoods,” said Nicole Reid, vice president – ornament and gift at Hallmark. “Hallmark and Funko are excited to join forces and bring the Pop! versions of these popular licensed characters to add to your trees this holiday.”

The Pop! Hallmark ornaments will be available on October 1 at Walmart.com and your neighborhood Walmart store. Additionally, limited quantities and exclusives will be available through Funko.com.
