1971 GMC® Fire Engine

The Fishing River Fire Protection District in Mosby, MO, made the right choice when they purchased this tough and reliable 1971 GMC® 6500 series fire engine. With a sturdy, double-wall cab, full-channel reinforced frame, and the legendary 427 V-8 under the hood, it was built to handle the rough roads and rugged terrain of this small, rural community. After over three decades of service, this venerable engine was retired in 2002 and is now in private ownership.
