1956 Ford Fire Engine

With powerful V-8 engines, extra-rugged suspensions, and “Lifeguard” safety features, Ford’s “Big Job” trucks were designed to handle a lifetime of hard work. This beautiful 1956 F-700 model has certainly delivered on that promise! Featuring a 750-gallon tank and a 750 GPM pump, this venerable fire engine has served the Greenwood, Indiana, community for almost 60 years. Last used as a Hazmat rig, it was retired in 1992 and now functions as a parade vehicle.
