1965 Chevrolet® Fire Engine
Fire Brigade

This 1965 fire engine, built on a Chevrolet® closed-cab and two-ton chassis, was especially popular with volunteer fire departments across America. These tightly knit groups of citizen firefighters relied on the truck’s 327-cubic-inch engine and 500-gallon per-minute pump to save homes and property in small towns and rural communities. With emergency lights flashing, this dependable engine was often seen on the go-racing to protect both cities and remote farms from the threat of fire.
