PEZ® Candy, with its many favors and fanciful dispensers, has been a favorite of Americans since its introduction here in 1952. This design is based on one of several hundred “character heads” produced by the company over the years.

The name PEZ® is derived from the German word for peppermint, the flavor of the candy when it was created in Vienna, Austria, more than 65 years ago.
