Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer* has brought joy to families every Christmas for decades. Rudolph’s nose-warming adventure is filled with beloved characters, such as Hermey, an elf who aspires to be a dentist; Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster; the Misfit Toys; the adventurous prospector Yukon Cornelius; and of course Clarice”, Rudolph’s sweetheart. Together, each of these characters brings a special touch to the show’s moral: that everyone is designed for a very specific, important, and wonderful purpose. Since its debut on December 6, 1964, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer has become the longest-running, highest-rated television special of all time.
