C-3PO™ and R2-D2™

One is a humanoid translator programmed with a galaxy’s worth of etiquette and protocol, the other a barrel-shaped diagnostic and repair unit equipped with gadgets and plenty of personality–C-3PO and R2-D2 proved their bravery and worth to their Rebel friends time and again during the Galactic Civil War. This unlikely pair of mechanical beings known as droids won the hearts of movie lovers from the opening scene of Star Wars™: A New Hope™ and went on to figure prominently as beloved characters throughout the film saga.
