Grant Hill’s first goal was to become an outstanding athlete. His second was to be a role model. He has succeeded at both. After scoring an amazing 2000 points during his high school career, he went on to lead the Duke Blue Devils to two national championships. The first-round draft choice of the Detroit Pistons, Hill became the NBA Rookie of the Year and the first rookie to be the top vote getter in All-Star balloting. He is admired for his classy attitude and for encouraging young people to get a good education.
