New Jersey Nets point guard Jason Kidd is a magician with the ball. In just two seasons with the University of California, he set new school records for assists and steals. The Dallas Mavericks picked Kidd No. 2 in 1994, and he tied for Rookie of the Year honors. In 1996, Kidd played in the first of his six All-Star Games. He has gone on to log stellar stats with the Phoenix Suns (1996-2001) and the New Jersey Nets, the team he led to the NBA Finals in 2002 and 2003.
