She was so passionate about the Hallmark ornaments. She would have her top picks highlighted in the Dream Book. I was lucky enough to visit with her at several conventions over the years. Such a wonderful person. RIP Clara

I don’t see this ornament shown with the other Personalized Ornaments in the Dream Book. This was one of two options at convention when you got your photo taken. The other option was an oval disc, similar to the style in 2017. The one shown compliments the main event piece as well as the sign in the Welcome Bag. Both the sign in the Welcome Bag and the photo frame sign were designed by Tom Best.

Unsure what type of food will be served, but they did ask on the application for any food preferences. I am a vegetarian and indicated that on the application. We’ll see what I get!

Hard to pick one favorite ornament, but I do have a favorite moment with Ken. It was at the 2017 event in Kansas City. I had taken the 2013 Victorian Dollhouse event piece to be signed by Ken and other artists. Turned out Ken was the last one to sign and there was a blank space about 1″ X 2″ left on the back of the ornament. I mentioned to Ken that he was my last artist for this piece…so he filled the space with “Merry Christmas 2017 KOC Convention, Ken Crow”. He has always been kind and fun-loving during these events. What a great artist. He will be missed. PS My ornament budget is the only one that is happy about this graduation.

Only 5? OK, here goes:
Santa’ Magic Train Tabletop (can’t wait to see it in action)
O Christmas Tree (one of my favorite series that I almost didn’t start collecting when it began)
Kringle’s Toy Shop ( compliments the Toymaker Santa series and last year’s Santa’s Magic Train)
Toymaker Santa (seeing a trend here?)
Father Christmas (enjoy this one every year)
Gotta include the Pull-String Horse (really like the vintage look and feel of this unofficial series)

I’m looking forward to the signings with the artists. Next would be the games and seminars. AND seeing old friends again!
