I hope to see you there Susan!  What are you most looking forward to at the event?

Looking forward to it with great anticipation. (Was unable to go in 2017, so this is definitely going to be a good one for me!)

It’s so great you’ll be able to go again this year, Ruth!  Looks to be a fun event!

I am not going this year but I did want to sign my daughter up who will be in Kansas City on business in August. She was going to check in and pick up her stuff & leave. But I cannot get her registered no matter how hard I try. It kept tellingme I had a problem with my credit card but I called and they said they did not even test my card much less charge it. I tried a second card and then it just said sorry and I had to start over. The last time I tried to register there were some ornaments not listed any more. I’m very upset with them right about now. They should treat us better. Bah humbug!

Bren, so sorry to hear you’ve had problems registering your daughter.  One suggestion…  I’ve read some people who’ve said that you have to use the exact name shown on the KOC membership card, anything else might cause it to fail… Like Matthew vs. Matt, for instance.

If you haven’t already, I’d definitely call 1-800-Hallmark and ask for help.  They may not be able to help you right away, but at least you’ll be in the system that you are trying to register.

Hope it goes well!  Keep us updated.

I’m  hoping  Hallmark  is  able  to  pull  this one  off  without  all the  long  lines.

I  enjoy  the  signing  but  it  seems  like  it  will be  very  rushed  to  get  us  all  done.  I  have  my  5  times  back  to back.

I’m  hoping  to  win the repainted  Frosty  Friends.   It’s my favorite series.

I ‘m going;  I have only missed 2 years in KC.  The first one and the year 2013.  I ‘m not sure about  doing anything for the costume contest this year.  It is a LOT of work putting it together and traveling by plane-extra luggage-and of course -the cost.  The contests, and the prizes for winning in the earlier years were so much better. Although, it does seem they have “up graded” the prizes this year.  2017 was horrible—$25 Hallmark gift card for winning!!

I am looking forward to the games.  I would like to be able to attend each game more than once.  Three games does not  seem like enough opportunity to win prizes.

I am  arriving Thursday before noon, so I will be getting my Artist signings that afternoon.   I am looking forward to all the events.  I just need a MAP!!  We will also be needing our comfortable walking/running shoes for sure!!  And I love the “room hoping”—-Just wish it was all in one hotel. I no doubt will just do the Westin as I am staying there.

I am looking forward to seeing old friends, and making new ones!!  It is SO much fun being with SO many people who are just as Crazy as I am about Hallmark, Christmas, and Decorating!!  August 8th is JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!

We are supposed to get an event app for our smartphones, so who knows, maybe no maps will be necessary, we can just get turn-by-turn directions to our next session??!  “In two feet, turn right at the trashcan!”  LOL  Hope to see you there!

I’m looking forward to the signings with the artists.  Next would be the games and seminars.  AND seeing old friends again!

Now that it’s over what was the hottest ornament from the convention?

It seems like the Frosty Friends repaint and Charter ornaments are the hottest items so far!
