At Friday nights Local Club Dinner in Arlington Heights, Keepsake Studio Artist, Tracy Larsen gave a Sneak Peek presentation featuring some of the designs he has created for the 2013 Keepsake ornament line.
Here is what was shown:
Reindeer Rider
Harley-Davidson®
Features an anthropomorphized moose wearing a leather Captain’s Cap Beret Be Bop, black leather jacket, white t-shirt (with Harley-Davidson logo on it), and cuffed blue jeans. Depicted standing with one leg crossed in front of the other.

Holiday Lightouse
2nd in the series
Inspired by Cape Hatteras in North Carolina. Features Santa and his furry friend painting a red stripe on the lighthouse. While Santa uses a scaffold (suspended
from the top of the building) to paint the top, his buddy works on the base. As a result of Santa accidentally spilling his paint, the Polar Bear has red paint on his
head. See the beacon in the tower flash continuously while light glows softly inside the home.
*NOTE: Although event attendees were not allowed to photograph the items included in the Sneak Peek presentations, we have included a previously released picture of “Holiday Lighthouse”, 2nd in the series, to help individuals visualize what this piece looks like.
Low Rider
Features Santa, wearing a red low riding fedora and sunglasses while driving his red Cadillac convertible. This tricked out car comes complete with a reindeer
hood ornament, large tail fins and a custom painted pinstriped trunk. Additionally the car’s tires have been replaced with silver skis. Press the button to hear music from “Low Rider” performed by WAR. Battery operated.
Tracy also had an early preview of “Let It Snow!”, the Magic Keepsake ornament that will be released later this year in conjunction with October Debut. He talked about basing the house in the design on his grandmother’s home. He then went on to reminisce about throwing water balloons from the upper window of the house.
Tracy also spoke about taking over the unofficial Noah’s Ark series. Next year’s piece will incorporate elements from previously released popular designs.
Tracy will also be starting a new series in 2013. His new series will be one of several (more than three) new series that will debut next year.
