To set your clock for the first time or after having been unplugged, wind/rotate the knob in the direction indicated on the back of the clock to reach a time between 12:00 and 1:00.
Press the Time Set button on the back of your clock to “tell” the clock you are beginning in the AM, just shortly after midnight.
Wind/rotate the knob to the current time.
NOTE: If it is past 12:00 noon when you set your clock, wind/rotate the knob through twelve hours to “tell” the clock the time is PM, then continue winding/rotating to achieve the proper time. For example, if your clock is displaying a time of 12:10 AM and your current time is 2:30 PM, wind/rotate the knob ahead 14 hours and 20 minutes advancing the clock from 12:10 AM to 2:30 PM
Once the clock is set, on the hour your clock will play one of two songs while displaying a sequence that includes fluttering bird’s wings and tails, the clock face rotating in a swirl pattern, and the center column displaying a flickering light and shadows sequence.
Turning Features On/Off
You may modify the hourly chimes using the Feature buttons on the side of the clock.Positioning the FEATURE and NIGHT MODE buttons will give you the features or stop them during the night.

Installing Remote Batteries
Using a small screwdriver, open the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
Insert the two batteries (included) into the compartment, flat side up, and replace the battery compartment door by screwing it securely into place.
To enjoy the approximately 30-second performances on demand, use the button on the remote.
To advance or skip the next performance, press the button on either the clock or remote.
