He is magically transported to the place known as “Where The Wild Things Are” in this classic children’s tale by Maurice Sendak. First published in 1963, and now a feature film as well, the story follows the adventures of Max and his vivid imagination. In this well-known scene, Max is crowned “king of all wild things” and is about to join his fellow creatures in a “wild rumpus.”
