Mickey’s Sweetheart

This Keepsake Ornament is reminiscent of the stuffed, sewn Mickey and Minnie character dolls popular during the 1930s.  The first Minnie fabric figure was introduced nearly two years after the first sewn Mickey, but both accurately reflect the images from Walt Disney’s landmark film. Here, Minnie makes an endearing fashion statement wearing her signature bright red skirt with white polka dots.  Her red shoes resemble those worn by other play figures, which enabled them to stand more easily.
