REINDEER REUNION In the northland, out over the mountains, First to fly in are Rodney and Rhonda, There’s a special place where they all gather, Grandpa reindeer begins reminiscing, Then the reindeer all join in maneuvers, All too soon the reunion is ending, As the reindeer head back toward their forests, M. E. Miro
All the reindeer are meeting, they say,
Flying in for their family reunion—
A convention that lasts just a day.
And the others from Santa’s own team,
Then come reindeer of all types and sizes,
All arriving to share reindeer dreams.
In a clearing that’s covered with snow,
And they spend the whole day swapping stories,
Telling things that every reindeer should know.
Telling stories that never grow old,
Spinning tales of adventures with Santa—
How all reindeer must be brave and bold.
Trying loops and rehearsing new flights,
Getting practice for magical moments
When they’ll guide Santa’s sleigh through the night.
And the reindeer all wave their good-byes;
Dashing up, toward the Pole, they’re ascending,
Flying eagerly home through the skies.
They all pause now and give a big cheer,
For tomorrow’s the night before Christmas,
The best reindeer night of the year!
