of the holiday greeting cards Hallmark founder J.C. Hall
sold to storefronts as a traveling salesman in 1910.

twig wreath. a wicker basket, and a porcelain head,
Woodsman Santa is quite merry in the crisp
quiet of winter season.

Features a vintage-style rendering of Santa, with a bearded face, wearing a red plaid peacoat with metal buttons, charcoal wool pants, his signature hat, and mittens, while holding a wooden birdhouse in one hand and a twig wreath in the other and caring a wicker basket filled with woodland greens on his back. Inspired by a postcard from the Hallmark archives.
