North Pole Toy Company Countdown Calendar

To start the countdown, attach all of the ornaments to the toy company display, making sure to match up the ornament numbers with the numbers printed on the windows.  On December 1, remove the first ornament (day 24) and place it in Santa’s sleigh.  Remove another ornament every day of the month to help Santa pack his sleigh for the big night.  After all the toys and presents are loaded, place Santa in the driver’s seat, and you’re all set for the merriest Christmas ever!

The child-safe ornaments attach with super-strong magnets and have numbers printed right on the back.  Pull out all the ornaments—they have several other fun uses:

• Have children place them in number order. (It’s a great exercise for younger minds!)
• Use them to set up math problems. (Wow, this is educational, too!)
• Have children sort them by characteristics.  (“Put all the ones with wheels in one pile,” “How many wrapped packages can you find?” “Can you find all the ones with animals?”)

Once Christmas is past, the ornaments store neatly in the sleigh pocket to wait for another fun year!
