Considered among the best model locomotives of its time, the LIONEL® Blue Comet was based on the actual Blue Comet train that ran on the Jersey Central line from New York to Atlantic City. LIONEL® offered the 400E Locomotive in the 1930s in two different scale models-Standard and O-Gauge.
