DECORATIVE CROSS

Our Decorative Cross was inspired by an architectural design book that Hallmark Artist Joanne Eschrich uncovered in the Hallmark Archives Rare Books Collection. The book is primarily filled with wrought iron drawings, but Joanne also found a number of intricate scrolls and patterns that she used to reimagine one of the holiest of icons. The result is an ornate, baroque blown-glass cross that reflects both the strong spiritual culture and the craftsmanship of Southern and Eastern Europe.
