As the planet Krypton began to crumble, the parents of infant Kal-El placed him in a rocket ship and launched him deep into space. Discovered by Kansas farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent, who raised the child as their own, Clark Kent soon developed extraordinary powers under the Earth’s yellow sun. After years spent traveling the planet in search of his destiny, Clark ultimately finds his place as Superman when a menace from his distant past threatens his adopted world.
