It Was All Started By A Mouse

Draw a sequence of pictures, flip, and roll, and you’ve got basic animation.  When Walt Disney first because interested in the art, it was just about that simple.  But the visionary storyteller would soon go on to revolutionize animation—and eventually the entire entertainment industry.  In 1928, Disney introduced not only sound in animation but also a certain character named Mickey.  Long after Disney the corporation had grown into an entertainment powerhouse, Disney the man recalled that founding moment, saying, “I only hope the we never lose sight of one thing—that it was all started by a mouse.”
