“This year’s Father Christmas, number eighteen, is a bit of a departure from what I have done in the past. It has a personal meaning to me. I grew up near the ocean in Massachusetts and I’ve always wanted to do a nautical Santa and this was my chance. So, I started looking for the fabrics that had those pretty aquas and blues, that are really on-trend right now, and even the ribbon, the trims. I was looking for things that had a reflective, sparkly quality about them like water has, and around his natural-looking bottle brush wreath is actual shells that I picked up from the beach on a stroll one day that were molded and repainted to look like the actual shells and then also, our little pearl and a starfish attachment that has a wonderful meaning about love and strength, and then behind each one always has a little scroll with a message. and this year it’s about tranquility and peace. So, I hope Father Christmas brings you all tranquility and peace for 2021.”
