“I love the idea of Santa Claus,” said Keepsake Ornament artist, Robert Chad, “He’s a fantasy. He can be anything we want him to be… and I like that. My ideal Santa Claus is an old-fashioned, back-to-nature Santa. He’s a friend to all the animals, and he considers friendship to be the most important gift one can give.” This design was chosen for the 1998 Artist’s Studio Collection, which highlights ornaments with rich detailing, or special features.
