What started as doodles and sketches for his friends and classmates eventually led to more masterful works of art, always intended to make someone smile. Now a pillar of the Hallmark Keepsake Studio, Tom has happily evolved into “that guy who makes ornaments.”

After joining Hallmark in 2012, Keepsake Artist Matt Johnson quickly learned just how much Keepsake Ornaments capture and share memories at Christmas. “You can see that in how people interact with an ornament and use it in their celebrations,” Matt says. “I appreciate that each Keepsake Ornament has artistry and the ability to mean different things to different people based on the experiences they bring to it.”
