A Sweet Beginning

As a young girl in Tokyo, Japan, Azusa Omura struggled with learning to write but found she could easily communicate through her drawings. As she grew, Azusa developed a lifelong love of animals, comic books, and Japanese anime that still influences her art today. “I like making things that people find cute and sweet..,” she says, “and I am so happy that I can make a meaningful difference for others by doing something I like to do!”
