HOLLY BALL

Created as a companion piece to our Snowflake Ball ornament, this Holly Ball was inspired by an early 1970s holly surface design that Hallmark Artist Matt Johnson discovered in our archives. Matt was taken with the asymmetry and the non-static swirl of the original leaf pattern. The berries are not connected to the plants, but instead seem to hover and float. Matt combined these elements in a way that conveys the energy, life, and motion of the bustling Christmas season.
