Troy Polamalu

Known for his tenacity, hard hits, and the heavily insured long hair that covers the name on the back of his jersey, Troy Polamalu has made quite an impression in the NFL.  Since he was drafted in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2003, the soft-spoken strong safety’s impact has been felt—loud and clear—as he’s intercepted, blitzed, and tackled his way to six Pro Bowl selections, the 2010 Defensive Player of the Year Award, and Super Bowls XL, XLIII, and XLV.
