Walter Payton

Sweetness.  One word, two syllables, and—when you’re talking about the late, great Chicago Bear Walter Payton–countless definitions.  It sums up the extraordinarily athletic way the Hall of Fame running back ran the football through, around, and over his opponents.  It’s the tongue-in-cheek description of the tough-as-nails, never-back-down attitude that earned him Pro Bowls, MVPs, and a Super Bowl ring.  And it’s the nickname of a much-admired man who was known to give as much off the field as he did on.
