Terri Steiger takes her time gathering ideas and inspiration. It’s her favorite part of creating Keepsake Ornaments. She loves diving deep into the Hallmark Archives–a treasure trove of vintage cards, design patterns, and gift products from Hallmark’s rich history. The inspiration she finds can influence a design, a story, or sometimes an entire concept. No matter the source, Terri’s ultimate goal is to make sure the meaning behind an ornament always shines through.
Keepsake Artist Edythe Kegrize made Hallmark history in 1998 as the first recipient of the company’s Barbara Marshall Award. The award, created to honor the daughter of Hallmark founder J.C. Hall, recognizes the spirit and ability within Hallmark’s creative community. During her six-month sabbatical, Edythe created a series of dolls that demonstrated her talent for figurative work and surface design–and earned her a spot in the Keepsake Studio.
