In the beginning, Tony Romo wasn’t the most likely candidate for Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback, but he has become one of the team’s most successful. After a standout college career at Eastern Illinois University, Romo received interest but wasn’t selected in the 2003 NFL draft. He signed with the Cowboys as a rookie free agent and eventually, in 2006, moved up to the #1 QB spot. Since then Romo has played in the Pro Bowl and has made him self right at home with other Cowboys legends, breaking team records for completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns.
