Suburban Shopper

The Midge® doll, who made her debut in 1963, soon became the best friend of everyone’s favorite fashion model, the BARBIE® doll.  This year Midge® turns 35 and enters the Keepsake Ornament collection wearing a full-skirted dress complemented by a “straw” cartwheel hat and matching tote bag.  Described as being “just right” for a Saturday morning visit to the Farmers’ Market, the “Suburban Shopper” ensemble was offered from 1959 to 1964.
