Dumbo’s First Flight

Walt Disney’s classic film Dumbo was first released in 1941.  Dumbo is the baby circus elephant born with huge ears.  He and his mother suffer humiliation from the other elephants and from the kids visiting the circus.  But humiliation turns to triumph as Dumbo, though the help of his mouse friend Timothy, is surprised to discover that he can use the oversized ears to fly.  Audiences everywhere have fallen in love with the cute elephant who soars above his situation in life.
