Imagine a snow-covered landscape—a very cold world of only grays and whites.  It is serenely silent—the snow muffling the sound.  Then all of a sudden, a few cardinals land on the feeder.  WOW!  That’s color!!!  The first time I saw them, I could hardly believe my eyes.  It can’t be—the birds must be fake!  I am still amazed every time I see them!
