LOCO Lends a Hand

LOCO (Love Of Collecting Ornaments) helps their community by giving back to a group they believe in.

LOCO donates $750 (50 wreaths) to Wreaths Across America to lay on veteran grave-sites this Christmas. For each $15 (the cost of one wreath) LOCO members donated, they received 5 raffle tickets for 2 special raffle prizes. Winner Cheryl Fletcher won a Christmas Tree Wallhanging with miniature ornaments. Winner Judi Wood won Sweet Santa and Santa’s Sweet Cart Set. The wreaths laying will be on Saturday, December 15th.

Handmade and From the Heart

To raise money for animals affected by the Australian wildfires, LOCO club members all chipped in for a chance to win handmade mug rugs.

At the February meeting LOCO members donated $55. We will collect donations again at our March meeting. At the February meeting we drew for 2 of the mug rugs. Mary Ellis won a Koala and Vickie Garcia won a Kangaroo. The other 2 mug rugs will be awarded at the March meeting. LOCO members are brokenhearted by the fate of millions of the Australian animals. We encourage other local Keepsake clubs to make donations.
