Well another 2 bite the dust. The last 2 Hallmark Corporate Stores in Orlando are no more. They shut down last week with out notice and are being turned into The Paper Stores.

Is Hallmark pushing all of its retail to Store in a Store model and Online only.

Whats the future hold

Hi Michael,

Sorry to hear about your corporate stores.  There have been a number of corporate locations that have transitioned into independent stores, it’s happened here in my area too.  The Paper Store is an independent Hallmark franchise chain of 80 Hallmark stores, so hopefully your shopping won’t change too much with the new owners!  Looking forward to hear your thoughts once it reopens!

Well I have talked to the people who have worked there. There will not be alot of changes but alot less Hallmark items, It is turning into more of a gift shop, than a card store, I know they will still carry ornaments. Just waiting to find out if points will be earned on items bought and if coupons can be used,

well with the Sale I never got my points for buying my ornaments nor my KOC bonus points. Hallmark is looking into all of this and said that it could be up to 3 months to fix. They are blaming it on the sale from corporate to independent.

Sorry, hopefully they will fix it soon.  Keep checking in with Hallmark until it’s resolved.
