Songs of the Season

9900QXC5300-Song-of-the-Season
9900QXC5300-Song-of-the-Season-2

Inspired by classic Christmas carols and crafted by some of your favorite Keepsake Artists, this collection is as memorable as the songs it embodies. All ornaments convey the essence of timeless holiday melodies and feature a shadow box environment with lyrics. Yet each is as distinctive as the style of the artist who created it. A set you’ll treasure forever, it is truly music to your eyes.

Joy to the World

Building snowmen has been a long-standing
tradition at Tammy Haddix’s household.
So it’s no surprise that you’ll find one of
her charming snowmen in this delightful
“Joy to the World” ornament. Joined
by his woodland owl pal, the snowbuddy
sparkles and glitters, depicting the pure
joy of heaven and nature singing.
By Tammy Haddix

Jingle Bells

When Terri Steiger was a kid, she used to
cut up the previous year’s Christmas
cards and make ornaments out of them.
Her “Jingle Bells” ornament certainly has
that handmade feel to it. Designed with tinsel,
a bow, and actual bells, this ornament takes
you right into a dashing-through-the-snow
scene and is sure to make spirits bright.
By Terri Steiger

Angels We Have Heard on High

Creator of the Heirloom Angel series,
Ruth Donikowski was happy to design this
sweetly singing angel, inspired by vintage
Christmas decorations. With its arched top,
transparent sides that look like stained glass,
and the words “Gloria in Excelsis Deo,”
the ornament evokes the feeling of and
the music of Christmas morning service.
By Ruth Donikowski

Twelve Days of Christmas

It’s as if one of Santa’s elves created this
“Twelve Days of Christmas” ornament
Actually, Ken Crow, a toymaker in his own
right, sculpted the partridge in a pear tree
using a carved wood look to give it that
workshop feel. With a brilliantly painted
bird, colorful gems, and golden pears, this
ornament delights every time you look at it.
By Ken Crow

O Christmas Tree

Edythe Kegrize grew up playing the piano,
and one of her favorite holiday songs to play
was “O Christmas Tree.” Now she brings the
carol to life in a shimmering package inspired
by vintage enamel jewelry, the kind her great
grandmother used to wear. The bows, the
crystals, and the lustrous finish truly capture
the festiveness of the season and the song.
By Edythe Kegrize

Jolly Old St. Nicholas

“Christmas is a nostalgic time,” says Nello Williams
who created the “Jolly Old St. Nicholas”
ornament based on a song reminiscent of his
grade school days. With Santa inspired
by retro advertising print graphics,
a 1940s-styled fireplace, and a touch of
art deco, this authentic ornament indeed
harkens back to Christmases and carols past.

Songs of the Season

Presented in a beautiful gift box, this Songs of the Season set is a medley of six ornaments created by six different Keepsake artists. Designed exclusively for Keepsake Ornament Club members, each shadow-box piece features sheet music from a classic Christmas carol.

Researching homes of the ’30s, ’40s and ’50s, Nello Williams wanted his “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” ornament to have his signature retro look.

“Plus, Santa Claus is my favorite character of the season,” he says.

Edythe Kegrize made “O Christmas Tree” really shine, decorating it with crystals inspired by her grandmother’s jewelry. She also remembers playing this carol on the piano as a child.

” I looked forward to the holidays so I could pull out the Christmas songbooks,” Edythe says.

Ruth Donikowski’s “Angels We Have Heard On High” ornament displays a sweet angel announcing the season. Framed with a stained glass look, Ruth ‘s ornament was inspired by vintage Christmas decorations.

When Terri Steiger was creating her “Jingle Bells” scene, she thought of the classic holiday cards her parents would receive-it has tinsel and real jingle bells. Oh, what fun!

Tammy Haddix designed the “Joy to the World” ornament featuring a snow buddy from her popular series. With garland framing the scene and a bow to wrap it all up, she says “he’s a happy, little, sparkling snowman.”

For ” Twelve Days of Christmas,” Ken Crow designed a perched partridge to give his ornament a carved-wood feel. He enjoyed being one of the six artists a-sculpting for this set and says “it was fun being part of the team.”
