Mark Newman is known among Hallmark Collectors for his stunning work on the Hallmark Gallery's "Majestic Wilderness" collection. That collection came briefly to the Keepsake line with the 3-part series of the same name.
Since his work with Hallmark, Mark has worked for other collectible companies, including a 17 year collaboration with fellow Hallmark-alum, Thomas Blackshear, whom he was the lead sculptor for on his "Ebony Visions" collection. He creates using traditional sculpting methods mostly.
He has also done work on video games and in Hollywood, including creating a fireplace facade for George Lucas and Skywalker Ranch.
He is currently teaching anatomy sculpting in Las Vegas.
