The Nostalgic Houses and Shops series was introduced in 1984. Elaborate detail and accurate architecture contributed to the success of the series. The center scene of this commemorative snow globe features three special buildings: Tannenbaum’s Department Store, created in 1993 to celebrate Keepsake Ornaments’ 20th anniversary; Halls Train Station, commemorating Keepsake Ornaments’ 25th anniversary in 1998; and the Town Hall, added in 2003 in honor of the series’ 20th year.
