Emperor’s Royal Guard

Sworn to protect Galactic Emperor Palpatine at all times, the crimson-clad Royal Guard was made up of the Imperial ranks’ most elite soldiers.  Selection for this high-status and dangerous duty was based on strength, intelligence, and above all, loyalty, even in the face of death.  Completely cloaked in flowing red robes and helmeted with featureless red masks, the imposing protectors of Palpatine were featured prominently in several chapters of the Star Wars saga, representing the last line of defense for the evil Emperor.
