It was destiny that led Jennifer to Hallmark—she always admired the special cards her grandmother made for birthdays and thought it would be a fun thing to do. She was an art major at Kansas State and enjoyed sculpting, metal smithing, jewelry making and painting with watercolors. After graduation, she joined Hallmark as a greeting card product designer. Currently, her Keepsakes job requires a mix of skills—managing people as well as using her designing ability to make product prototypes.
Her favorite ornaments have been the nostalgic toys (Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots™ and See ‘N Say™) which she says remind her of her childhood.
Jennifer is part of a “Hallmark family”—her husband is a designer in the Hallmark Books area. They are proud parents of an active son who keeps them on the go. When she has time, she loves to read and exercise.
