There’s a 1989 Membership Kit with Your Name on It.

The star of this year’s kit is the Keepsake of Membership ornament, “Visit From Santa.” This jolly old elf has a special twinkle in his eyes because your name is personalizing the sled. The design also carries the Club logo and year date “1989.”

Ken Crow, the sculptor of this ornament, explains his inspiration for the details included in this design:

“I sculpted the tovs that I wish I had gotten from Santa,” says Crow. “I grew up in California, and I never saw snow until I went to college in Missouri But I always thought it’d be really neat to have a sled, especially one with my name printed on it.”

When you look closely at this exclusive Ornament, you’ll see that Santa wears a very friendly expression.

“I thought of my dad when I was creating this Santa,” says Crow. “My dad is not the round type, but this is what I imagine my dad would have looked like if he had dressed up as Santa when I was little.”
