Santa’s so tired from delivering toys
to millions of good little girls and boys.
He turns off his ringing alarm with a slap,
so he can continue his long winter’s nap.
Magic (wind-up motion)
Winding the key beneath Santa's bed activates his jingling, jittering alarm clock. In response, Santa raises his arm slowly, then slaps the clock silent so he can continue his much–deserved long winter's nap.

Keepsakes Keeps the Magic Alive Five years ago, an observant airline passenger sat next to Ken Crow watching him sketch designs for Keepsake Ornaments. “Some day,” said Ken “you’ll see this in a Hallmark store.” True to his word, Snoozing Santa be available this year. This wind-up ornament features Santa who just can’t seem to wake up on December 25. “Santa did his thing the night before and now he’s in hibernation,” said Ken. As the alarm clock rings, Santa sleepily slaps it without even opening his eyes. After 40 more winks, the clock rings again and Santa still refuses to wake up. “Collectors really seem to enjoy Keepsake Ornaments that have special features and movement,” said Ken. You’ll notice that Santa just barely made it into bed – his stocking feet are sticking out of the bottom of the blankets and his hat hangs gingerly on the bedpost. Of course we wouldn’t think that Santa would sleep in anything other than an exceptional bed. Santa will have sweet dreams of his reindeer and sleigh, which are elegantly carved into his headboard. “Keepsakes Keeps the Magic Alive.” Collector’s Courier 15 March 2001: 4
