Individuals started lining up at 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning. By 9:00 a.m. when the store opened (for event piece sales) there were approximately 125-150 people in line.

Shortly before the store opened, the local club went down the line and handed out signing tickets (product vouchers were not used) along with homemade cookies and offered bottles of water for sale to help raise money for their charity. In addition to handing out cookies throughout the morning, the club set up a complementary snack table (loaded with candy, cookies and popcorn) on the center feature table (near the entrance of the store) and encouraged attendees to help themselves.

Immediately after the store opened, a second line was formed in the store for individuals wanting to have pieces signed. Since the local club finished their portion of the signing event early, Robert Chad decided to start the signing for the general public approximately 30-45 minutes early.

Throughout the event the signing line moved fairly quickly. Many individuals reported being able to make it through the line as many as five times before lunch. Although the store continued to hand out signing tickets after lunch, they really weren’t necessary as the crowd had dissipated by then.

After everyone in attendance had the opportunity to purchase the event piece, attendees were allowed to purchase additional pieces.
