Zebra Fantasy leaps from history

When Linda Sickman sculpted Zebra Fantasy several years ago, 1999 Premiere was the farthest thought from her mind. “I actually sculpted the zebra on a whim,” she laughs. “I wanted to create something different from the Rocking Horse series, but with a similar structure. After I finished it, believe it or not , I stuck it in my desk drawer!

“When the team planning the 1999 Premiere asked for ideas, I opened my drawer, and there it was,” she says. “It was a pleasant surprise for me, for them, and we hope it will be a great surprise for you!”
